Jess Karpilo is the artisan behind Crybaby Industries. She is an emerging jewelry and metals artist based in the Pacific Northwest. After growing up landlocked in Colorado, Jess moved West to be closer to the ocean. Working primarily in sterling silver, her pieces feature sea glass found in Washington state and stones that are reminiscent of forest floors and desert landscapes. Jess is currently working toward her Certificate of Jewelry Design at North Seattle College. Her work has been featured in the NSC Juried Student Exhibition and the Danaca Design Student Show. She lives in Seattle with her partner, in a cozy apartment that is filled with weird things.
